TRADITIONAL AND CONTEMPORARY BASKETS

Lois Russell has been making baskets since 1988, and her work has evolved as she has explored traditions and techniques. Her work ranges from the traditional baskets to playful sculptural pieces.

The National Basketry Organization has just honored me with a Lifetime Achievement Award!  I am humbled to be in the company of those who have won this award in past years.

These workshops are held in beautiful residential settings...think art camp for adults. Also, beginners are very welcome.  The workshops cover technique and creativity. Please contact me if you have questions.
